Responsible Gambling

Gambling is entertainment with a cost, not a way to make money. Every operator listed on this site holds a mathematical edge, and over enough hands that edge is the only reliable outcome.

Free confidential help across Canada — ConnexOntario runs a 24-hour line on 1-866-531-2600. Quebec's referral line is 1-800-461-0140. Every province operates a problem gambling helpline, and all of them are free, confidential and available to family members as well as players.

Tools at every site listed here — deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion. These are easiest to set when an account is opened rather than later, and a limit set in a calm moment is worth more than one set in a difficult one.

Offshore self-exclusion is per operator. Excluding at one site does not exclude at another. Ontario residents can exclude across all iGaming Ontario operators at once through the provincial scheme, and most provinces run an equivalent for their own sites, but none of those schemes reaches the offshore market.

Warning signs — depositing to recover losses, gambling with money needed for something else, hiding the extent of play, borrowing to fund it, or being unable to stop at a limit that was set in advance. Any one of those is a reason to use the tools above today rather than at some later point.
